Ardrossan is located on the Eastern
coast of Yorke Peninsula, some 150 km from Adelaide. A popular tourist
destination, Ardrossan is well suited to holidaying with safe and
pleasant beaches, a beautifully located caravan park, good fishing,
and a central location for day trips.

Ardrossan, proclaimed in 1873, was named by the then Governor Fergusson
after the town of Ardrossan
in Ayshire Scotland.

The National Trust museum has
extensive displays of local history. The museum is located on Fifth St
in the old Stumpjump Plough Factory. |
